Does that trappers and hunter hide tanning formula (orange bottle) work for tanning beaver hides?

I've used it twice and it tans the hide but you need to stretch and pull the hide constantly if you want anything other than a rock hard board. Also, my small beaver worked much better as I think the leather was much thinner. I'm going to experiment with using a palm sander to thin the hides.

This beaver i got is a small beaver and the leather feels thin. I'll give er a try, thanks.
