Anybody ever use an old safety razor to thin beaver hides before tanning? |

Those blades I seem to remember were pretty thin, can't see them staying sharp long enough to do too much, but then I never had one … maybe some of the really old guys on this site will comment (and remember what they looked like .. |

The blades are fairly cheap, 100 for under $20, i got my first cut from one of those |
