does anyone know how to make this i starting making maple syrup today and want to try making soe maple candy.
oh the syrup turned out awesome and tastes awesome i'll post some pictures later of the proccess tomorrow

Make sure you fingers aren't sticky when getting those pics. :lol:
get the smallest size, 1 teaspoon size 12 pacs or you will use a lot and they are sweet.

There are rubber moulds to buy, that you pour the syrup into.
Candy crystalization occurs at a certain boiling temp, adjusted to barametic pressure
Caution it only takes a few degree difference.
Sterlize the syrup and make at a latter date, man it is sweet and you are going to need a few brews to wash it down and some smoke jerky to neturilize it, and wash it down and sweeten it up again, you get my drift. It is like Doritos when you start.

Remember that pure syrup is all one type of sugar that a diabetic CAN break down. I get it confused( either alpa or beta) glucose, where as man made sugar has both and the problem is on with out insuline is need to break down to finer carbon chain.
But it is just like drinking, moderation is necessary in consumption.
