Dear CNTA,

Today was my first experience at uploading some photos on trapper.ca.

Not that it's hard to run photobucket, just tedious and time consuming. I am curious how some forums have the img upload button (and we have to run through photobucket)?

Is it a bigger cost? Don't think I'm getting nosey, I just think I (and probably many others) would put more photos and posts on trapper.ca if the photo upload was more straight forward.

Thanks

You can upload pics right from your computer providing the file is not to big, follow this link which allows you to downsize your photos to fit this forum with one click of the mouse,... http://download.micr...wertoySetup.exe

left click "browse" to find the photo you want then "add file".. the downside is you only well be allowed one pic per post.

For me (who's on dailup) it's eaiser and faster than bucket.

Thanks for the tip FreeRangeTrapper, Ill try it when I'm home again.

I'd still like an answer regarding the opportunity to direct load from the site.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Please read through this post.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2477

You will see that we are asking posters to use something like photobucket to save bandwidth.

More bandwidth = more $$$ to run the site.

Personally I find it not hard at all to use photo bucket. It even resizes the photos for you.

Thanks Trapp,
That's all I needed to know - if it costed more money to run a setup that allowed direct upload of photos.
