Does that trappers and hunter hide tanning formula (orange bottle) work for tanning beaver hides? |

I've used it twice and it tans the hide but you need to stretch and pull the hide constantly if you want anything other than a rock hard board. Also, my small beaver worked much better as I think the leather was much thinner. I'm going to experiment with using a palm sander to thin the hides. |

This beaver i got is a small beaver and the leather feels thin. I'll give er a try, thanks. |
