Hi Everyone,

I'm brand new to this site, and i am really enjoying all the reads. I have never trapped a day in my life, but , it is a lifestyle that i want to adapt into and hopefully one day be able to pass on some knowledge to others. I'm writing this to find out if any one knows of a trapping course in the fort st john area? If so when? and where? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to spending many a nights reading on this amazing site, and also chatting with all of you. Good luck to you all

The instructor for your area is Carl Gitscheff in Dawson Creek. He just had a course a little while ago so not sure when the next will be.

The president of the local is Jim Vince, of Hudson Hope. The people with a great amount of knowledge in the Fort would be Floyd and Vickie Allen. Floyd repairs snowmobiles in his spare ( retired ) time.
